The “Uspishna Kraina” – the political force of Oleksandr Klymenko – filed a statement against Vitaliy Gaydukevich, journalist of the 5 Channel, and Oleksii Antypovych, the head of the Sociological Group «Rating», concerning their xenophobic statements to the National Police of Ukraine. It was written by Oleksandr Klymenko, the leader of the party, on his Facebook page.
On August 15, it was filed an application for opening a criminal case against Vitaliy Gaydukevich, journalist of the 5 Channel, and Oleksii Antypovych, the head of the Sociological Group «Rating».
“I promised to file a statement related to xenophobic air of Vitaliy Gaydukevich, who offers to carry out a check for “ukrainianity” among all citizens and to expel those, who fail the above-mentioned perverse test. On behalf of the “Uspishna Kraina” team, we submitted such an application to the National Police of Ukraine”, – Klymenko stated.
The initiator of the statement – is Olesya Medvedeva, one of the leaders of the “Uspishna Kraina” party.
Let us recall, earlier, during the air, Vitaliy Gaydukevich offered to expel “unreliable” Ukrainians and to use the experience of Czechoslovakia, where it was expelled about 3 million of the Sudeten Germans during 1945-1946 yy.
According to the text of the application, statements of Gaydukevich and Antypovych are aimed at intended inflaming national or religious enmity, as well as humiliation of national honor and dignity based on linguistic characteristics, sex, ethnic and social origin, political, religious and other convictions. Consequently, journalist of the President’s channel violated Art. 24 of the Constitution of Ukraine and Art. 161 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. That is why, he could be punished by a fine up to 500 tax-free minimum incomes or correctional labor for a term up to two years. According to the article, it is also possible restraint of liberty for a term up to five years with the deprivation of the right to occupy certain positions or engage in certain activities.
Let us remind, earlier Oleksandr Klymenko – the leader of the «Uspishna Kraina» party – stated that the power is interested in dividing and pushing Ukrainians against each other, emphasizing their inequality before the law.
