Young leaders are going to change Ukraine
Another module of the Youth Leadership School took place in Kyiv. This time, future politicians studied basics of ideology and presented their own projects related to resolving social problems at local and national level.
The educational project, which is carried out with support from Oleksandr Klymenko, the leader of the “Uspishna Kraina”, has gathered about 150 young people from all over Ukraine. During the two days of trainings, young leaders managed to work and prove themselves in different formats. During the first day of the module, Anatoliy Neelov – the head of the “Black Square” theatre studio – took the floor in front of the participants. It was a master class called ” Public speaking and the art of improvisation”. Young leaders had an opportunity to demonstrate the skills, which were obtained in the course of the training, during the second day. They had to defend the thesis “There is an alternative for Ukraine” in Oxford debates.
Presentation of projects, which were independently developed by participants, became a novelty of the module. The jury gave high marks to initiatives of the regional teams. In particular, such projects were related to fight against corruption, resolving social problems and integration of IPDs into Ukrainian society.
In addition, Oleksandr Klymenko – the leader of the «Uspishna Kraina» party – appealed to participants of the second module.
“Our school helps to educate professional political leaders, future ministers and business leaders. Nowadays, they want and they are ready to take responsibility. I am confident that in 10 years these young people will teach at our school. However, they will teach as politicians, leaders, and public figures. We will keep on expanding and developing community of young alternative leaders in Ukraine and for Ukraine!”, – Klymenko shared his impressions on his Facebook page.

Later they started to discuss socially important issues and problems”, – Medvedeva commented.
