Ukrainian entrepreneurs are threatened with inspections and additional charges, – Oleksandr Klymenko
Ukrainian entrepreneurs, who were forced to close their individual entities, are still under control of fiscal service during the following three years. It will remain under the threat of inspections and additional charges. It was stated by Oleksandr Klymenko – the former minister of Revenue and Duties and the leader of the “Uspishna Kraina” party – on his Facebook page.
The politician reminded that individual entrepreneurs started to close their business due to the politics of current Ukrainian power. About 330 thousand individual entrepreneurs have closed their business by mid-February. However, the entrepreneur has to be inspected (the terms of investigation have not been fixed) in order to be removed from the register.
“From the inside, the situation is the following: there is an ongoing reform in the State Fiscal Service. There is almost no people, who can carry out the investigations of the business: the number of regional inspectors has been reduced, Kyiv inspectors do not want to deal with it”, – Klymenko wrote.
At the same time, according to the leader of the “Uspishna Kraina”, the rhetoric of Roman Nasyrov – the head of the State Fiscal Service – has changed twice during the February. At first, he announced a total investigation for all entrepreneurs, who closed their business. Later, he offered to revise the investigation criteria during the closing of individual entrepreneurs and to simplify the procedure for removal from tax accounting.
Klymenko noted that according to the Decree of the Ministry of Finance, which was mentioned by Nasyrov, the supervisory body is not obliged, but have a right to carry out inspections if there are relevant grounds taking into account the statute of limitations. Such expectance can last more than 1,095 days.
“Thus, individual entrepreneurs will wait for years expecting for a miracle-investigation, which may or may not happen. Meanwhile, the authorities, will report on glorious and easy doing business in Ukraine”, – the politician summed up.
Let us recall, in September 2016, the “Uspishna Kraina” party of Oleksandr Klymenko presented a fair Tax Code, which has been worked out in conjunction with Ukrainian entrepreneurs. Klymenko himself stated that it would the first document adopted after the “Uspishna Kraina” elected to Ukrainian parliament.
