Oleksandr Klymenko: the power has stolen UAH 225 thousand from each employed Ukrainian during the last three years

Employed Ukrainians did not receive more than UAH 3.5 trillion during 2014-2016 due to currency value fluctuations caused by actions of the authorities. The corresponding calculations were published by Oleksandr Klymenko – the leader of the “Uspishna Kraina” party, former Minister of Revenue and Duties – on his Facebook page.

“UAH 225 076 – it is the exact amount that could be received by each Ukrainian for his work during 2014-2016 inc. If these funds did not go to the pocket of the power, Ukrainians would earn it!”, – Klymenko wrote.

According to the methodology of calculating of the politician, after the decrease the currency’s relative value from UAH 7,99 to UAH 11,89 per dollar, total income of Ukrainians has decreased by USD 30.2 billion in 2014. In 2015, the monetary policy of the authorities led to the loss of USD 61.8 billion by Ukrainians. According to operative data, this sum was amounted to USD 71.3 billion in 2016.

“The total amount – is more than three and a half trillion (!) hryvnia. For comparison, this sum is equal to the Kyiv city’s budget in 2017”, – Klymenko calculated.

In addition, the politician noted that the amount of income that has not been received by Ukrainians is getting more each year (starting from 2014).

“The authorities have taken the loans for 30 years ahead. Moreover, they divided it between themselves and did not care about creating workplaces and development of the economy. Instead, it has closed individual entrepreneurs, cut off sales markets for industrial entrepreneurs (on the verge of survival) and driven the last IT companies out via inspections”, – the leader of the “Uspishna Kraina” believes.

“If the situation (power should read carefully) is not changed in the very near future, if we do not start creating workplaces and implementing economic policies in favour of our citizens (not external creditors), Ukrainians will soon have no place to work,” – the politician said.

Let us recall, last week Oleksandr Klymenko published the calculations, which demonstrate that the power had not paid UAH 93 240 (or 55 average pensions) to each Ukrainian pensioner during 2014-2016 yy.
