How do ukrainians love their country: video for the Independence Day
The «Uspishna Kraina» party shot the video, which shows how do Ukrainians love their country. The project is dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Ukrainian Independence.
Oleksandr Klymenko – the leader of the political force – filmed in the video together with citizens. On his Facebook page, the politician announced the premiere of the video and told about the meaning of this holiday for him and for the “Uspishna Kraina” too.
“Independent Ukraine. Twenty-five years. The more these words sound from the mouth of populist politicians, the less it contains true meaning. That meaning, which can touch our hearts”- Klymenko started.
Ukrainian politician offered to put these words on ourselves. “Think about your life. Many of us were born in the independent country, others were born in other state. We were brought up by school and parents. They tried to share their valuable experience with us. To teach us. To keep from making their mistakes. Later there is always – always! – time for our first independent decision. We choose our own path”- the leader of the «Uspishna Kraina» said.
He is confident: we look like those, who gave us our life and brought us up. However, we are different. We grow up and become stronger. “Power is, above all things, in faith and knowledge. Our own ideas on “what is good and what is bad” are getting stronger over the years. We believe that it is right. It is called “principles”. A strong person is a man of principle”, – Oleksandr Klymenko said.
The politician states that the path of the country is similar to the path of a person. “Independence – is self-sufficiency in decision making. Both in domestic and international affairs. In politics, economy, and social field. No one can tell married couple, how to bring up their children or manage a household. At the same time, no one has the right to tell the country, how to adopt its laws and how to organize lives of its citizens. Thus, we have to find our strength and our independence. It means that we have to find our own path”.
Klymenko believes that if we know, what to strive for and what is good for us, neither neighbours nor enemies, nor friends, nor creditors will make us go astray.
“Independence is in ourselves. Firstly, it is in respect for self-sufficiency of each other. We must not give orders and tell others, where should they pray, and which language should they speak. We must not force others to accept our principles and live our life. In this case, our lovely Ukraine, where we live, will find its own path. At this rate, we will congratulate each other on the Independence Day with open heart and soul,” – the leader of the «Uspishna Kraina» summed up.
